Digital Mobile Radio (DMR)

Project Detail

The Digital Mobile Radio international Standard, has been originally designed to operate within the existing 12.5kHz channel spacing used in licenced land mobile frequency bands globally and to meet future regulatory requirements for 6.25kHz channel equivalence.

The primary goal is to specify affordable digital systems with low complexity. DMR provides voice, data and other supplementary services.

IPR studied a specific onboard equipment to establish a communication bridge between remote locations in absence of Line of Sight conditions.
The application fits the best in typical “Relay” complex systems where a flying machine is loitering over a region where connection to the main ground station is required.
So to enable remote player equipped with handy DMR system to communicate.
